Welcome & Times
First Presbyterian Church’s classic services offer exceptional fine arts, traditional hymns and challenging, biblical messages to help you grow closer to God and grow stronger in your faith. Our sanctuary provides an inspiring setting with its stained glass in the choir loft, rich organ music and welcoming congregation.
FPC offers two classic services every week, one at 8:15 a.m. and another at 10:30. Communion is served every week at the 8:15 service, but the two services are identical in every other way. You are welcome at whichever time works best for you, and we look forward to worshiping with you.
Communion:
Our church celebrates the Lord’s Supper every Sunday at the 8:15 a.m. service. People walk forward and receive the elements from a pastor and elder. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper six times a year at the 10:30 a.m. classic service with the elements passed to people in the pews on trays by elders. Baptized children who are being nurtured and instructed in the significance of Holy Communion are invited to receive the Sacrament.
Assistive listening devices: Devices for the 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. worship services are provided through the Memorial Committee to our hearing impaired members and visitors. The hearing devices are available in the at the desk in the narthex or ask any usher for assistance.
