Funerals
The Congregational Care Council of First Presbyterian Church is here to minister to our congregation when the death of a family member has occurred and the funeral is being held at our church. We will notify any group within the church with whom the deceased was affiliated such as the Presbyterian Women Circle, a Sunday school class or small group.
When a reception is requested following the service, we can offer cookies & punch for 40 to 50 people.
If attendance is anticipated to be greater than stated above, we can suggest names of caterers. Usually, the reception is in the Welcome Center or Fellowship Hall may be available for large groups.
The parlor is available for the family to gather prior to the service. A pastor will contact you to further advise and assist you.
