Giving/Stewardship
Giving is an essential part of worship, and First Presbyterian Church strives to be a wise and responsible steward of the gifts and resources God has provided.
In 2 Corinthians, Chapter 9, Paul writes to believers to, “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
Members are encouraged to pledge their offerings each year, and they can give in multiple ways, including at church on Sunday mornings and online. Giving is a response to God's grace, it shows our trust in God. At FPC we embark on a journey of generosity.
