Embangweni X-Ray Machine - Malawi
In May of 2010 our church provided a new x-ray machine to the Presbyterian Mission station in Embangweni, Malawi. The hospital serves an area of over 100,000 people and until last May there was not an x-ray machine at the hospital. This machine has changed many lives in the central area of Malawi. We also need to help with providing x-ray films on a yearly basis. Frank and Nancy serve in Malawi and are able to visit Embangweni to keep up with their needs. Stars for Jesus Ministries
Reah Githaiga and Stars for Jesus are reaching out to the orphaned, needy, and neglected children from the streets and slums of Nairobi, Kenya. These children face great physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs as a result of poverty and neglect. The overall objective is to provide love, care, and education with the help from our mission committee. Call Nancy Bertram 686-7187 if you would like to help.
CCAP Manyowe Presbyterian Church Malawi
One of the outlying Presbyterian churches in Blantyre, Malawi has requested a roof for their church. They have built the walls making all the bricks themselves, but they were unable to raise the funds for the roofing material which we have now purchased. Githiga Childrens' Home - Kenya
This childrens' home is a mission of PCEA (Presbyterian Church of East Africa) which is located northwest of Nairobi. We have built a primary school for this orphange over a 3 year period which now allows these children to finish elementary school. In the future we would like to construct a secondary school, but for now we are assisting them with food and clothes. Contact or call 863-686-7187 ext 248 for more details.
