Community Partnerships International
CPI’s next big project is the construction of a new community center serving Chauffard (where over 23 people from FPC visited on a mission trip in July 2011). The community center will expand an existing primary school, start a secondary school, offer adult literacy programs, capture and purify drinking water, grow the local church and provide a small medical clinic for the community. The cost of the center will be $100,000, but the impact on the community will be immeasurable. There are four ways you can partner with CPI. Call Kenny Ellis 863-686-7187 for more details.
Food Pantry
FPC has opened a limited food pantry as of October 2011. At this time we have 25 food boxes per month for those in our church and community who have a need for supplemental food. If you have a need, please call Nancy Bertram at 686-7187 x 248, and she will add your name to the list. We have 25 food boxes to be distributed from FPC each month to those who need a little help. Call Nancy at the number above for more information.
International Students Inc. Ministry
We at FPC are looking for people who would like to befriend one of the 100 foreign students who attend Florida Southern College. Your friendship can make a
world of difference in the life of a student. Many of these men and women are their countries’ brightest and will be tomorrow’s leaders. The sad fact is that most of them are never invited inside an American home. You will only need to be a friend to these students. They have housing at Florida Southern. Call Nancy Bertram 686-7187 ext.248 if you have an interest, and she can give you more details. Email:
