Little Shepherds Preschool
Little Shepherds is a licensed weekday preschool program for children ages 3-months to 4-years old. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. There are several schedules to choose from. You will experience professional loving teachers, small class sizes and developmentally appropriate curriculum taught in a Christian environment.
Children will enjoy many activities at Little Shepherds. They will participate in many learning opportunities through classrooom play, outside play and music class. Children will also attend a monthy Chapel time. Little Shepherds' teachers encourage children to explore, experiment, and develop skills at their own level and pace.
Little Shepherds was a vision of First Presbyterian Church, Lakeland. In 1997 it became a reality in response to parent requests for consistently affordable, quality child care in a safe and spiritually nurturing environment. Little Shepherds is a church-supported program. It is regulated by the Polk County Health Department/Department of Children and Families and the Christian Education Council of First Presbyterian Church (FPC), Lakeland.
