Little Shepherds Preschool
Little Shepherds is a licensed weekday preschool program for children ages 3-months to 4-years old. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. There are several schedules to choose from. Whether you're looking for 2-days a week or 5-days, early drop-off at 8:30 A.M. or regular drop-off at 9:00 A.M., Little Shepherds offers many options to fit your family. You will experience professional loving teachers; small class sizes; developmentally appropriate curriculum, and 4-year olds who are ready for Kindergarten.
Enjoy peace of mind knowing your child is in a loving environment getting the individual attention he or she needs. Activities are fun and children sing, play, paint and attend chapel services regularly. Little Shepherds' teachers encourage children to explore, experiment, and develop skills at their own level and pace.
Little Shepherds was a vision of First Presbyterian Church, Lakeland. In 1997 it became a reality in response to parent requests for consistently affordable, quality child care in a safe and spiritually nurturing environment. Little Shepherds seeks to offer support to parents as they raise children in our complex and ever-changing society.
Little Shepherds is a church-supported program. It is regulated by the Polk County Health Department/Department of Children and Families and the Christian Education Council of First Presbyterian Church (FPC), Lakeland.
